12 Little One Note Pieces
What happens when a composer dares to say more with less?
"12 Little One Note Pieces" is a twelve-movement experimental suite where each movement is built entirely on a single pitch. But don’t be fooled — within this minimalist structure lies a rich world of color, rhythm, articulation, and imagination.
Each piece dives deeply into the expressive potential of one note, inviting performers to explore dynamics, timbre, space, and extended techniques with intensity and creativity. From the smooth swagger of "Heavy D" to the quirky bounce of "Hop-B", and the philosophical playfulness of "To B-flat or Not to B-flat", this collection redefines what a melody can be.
